One of our on-going projects is to donate books to the Lihue Library in the name of Literacy. Each guest speaker of our club is honored with a book donated to the Lihue Library on behalf of the Speaker of the Club.

Food Bank Spring Drive

Congratulation to the Kauai Food Bank, it's spring fund/food drive was a success! They have met their goals of rasing over $10,000 is donations and almost 2000 pounds of food from a 1 day effort of their Fish Netting Fundrasing at 6 of Kauai's favorite shopping centers and markets.

With the help from community volunteers and it's board of directors we were able to curbs the hurt of hunger.

The Kauai Food Bank would like to take the opportunity to thank all Rotary Club members for participating in the fund drive. They also would like to thank the Kukui Grove, Wal-Mart, Ching Young Village, Ishihara Market, and Waipoli Shopping Center to allow our food drive to be successful.
